The Mayura brand name comes from the Sanskrit word mayūra (मयूर), which means 'peacock'. This is a linguistic tradition over 3,000 years old.

The peacock is a symbol that has accompanied our brand since its beginnings. Its colors conceal more than just beauty and elegance: a connection to nature, to traditional botanical knowledge, and to a world from which many of our inspirations originate.

Our roots go back a long way. We take up these ideas, develop them further, and combine selected plants with a modern understanding of quality and care.
